Spent 25 years in the mortgage industry at which time he retired from the industry as a regional manager for Resource One Mortgage Bankers. He received his real estate license in 1994 and formed the brokership JA Home Sales with his wife Annette.

Began her real estate career in 1992. Worked her way to become a top agent with Re/max Complete in Brooklyn. In 1996 along with her husband she opened the brokership of JA Home Sales in Brooklyn, NY. The company moved to Queens NY in 2012 where it is still in operation today.
